Rainbow

We have a Pohutakawa tree (New Zealand Christmas bush) in our back yard. It came with us from our early days together. It's now quite large and has the prettiest flowers on it. We now have the pleasure of these Rainbows Lorikeets, they come to visit us each day, it's really nice to watch these cheeky birds in action.

  4. Beautiful birds, but a pest over here in WA, they are classed as feral as we did not original have them here and the small flock that escaped from an aviary is now huge and competing with our native parrots. They are soo noisy, but with those stunning colours you can forgive them for the noise.

    Great photos xxx
