Biennale Cockatoo Island

Cockatoo Island is the major venue for the Biennale of Sydney for the 3rd time. It is Australia's largest contemporary visual arts event, hosting Artist from all over the world.

Draped over the old machinery, were large links and chain made out of polystyrene.

 An old shipping container.

My favourite work was a interactive kinetic environment. The work incorporates lightweight digitally produced textile structures with touch sensors and LEDs that respond to your actions, the little vials we filled with Frankincense that released a perfume when you walked by.

It was just the best day out, we all had fun and now the kids think of Art differently.

  5. I haven't been to the biennale in Venezia for ages! It's actually a very long time since I went to any museum or art event and i miss it so much. The shop is taking away all my time and I don't have a social life anymore!!
