Bake and Taste Greek

I'm joining  in on a Bake and Taste Greek Event held over at the lovely Ferns at the Balcony: Bake & Taste Greek Blog Event!

I have made the Pumpkin cake with olive oil.
These are the links:
Sweet bakes

Savoury bakes
It would be great if you joined in, all you have to do is pick one of the 6 baking recipes, bake it then share the outcome. The cake I made was so easy and tastes divine.

Pumpkin cake with olive oil
250g pumpkin, grated
1 1/2 cups of sugar
3 cups of self raising flour
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of Bi carb soda
1tsp lemon zest
1tbsp Cinnamon
1 cup Olive oil
2 eggs

Mix all the dry ingredients.Beat the eggs in another bowl, then add the olive oil.Pour the liquid mixture into the dry one, mixing with a spoon. The end product should be dry, something like a soft dough.Pour in a tin (no need to butter it) and bake at 180 C, for an hour, until baked inside.Pour over the icing, made with icing sugar and lemon juice.

  11. I adore pumpkin, but because of the different seasons we only have pumpkin in the can. I have to wait until fall to get a fresh pumpkin to grate. Lovely photos.
