Chocolate Coffee Bundt Cake # BundtMonth

When I first  saw this idea over at  All that's left are the crumbs Blog, I could"t wait to join in on the Bundt  baking and bake a Bundt cake, I have had a Bundt tin in the cupboard for a few years and have only made one Bundt cake before.

2 cups Sugar
11/3 cups Plain flour
3/4 cup Cocoa
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
2teaspoon Baking Soda
1 cup sour Milk
1 cup Strong Coffee
1/2 cup Oil
2 Eggs
1teaspoon Vanilla

Combine all of the dry ingredients into the bowl of a mix mastre and mix.
Add the wet ingredients and mix till combined.
Poor into a Bundt tin that has been buttered and dusted with cocoa powder, and bake at 180c for 45mins or till cooked.
  • And don't forget to check out the wonderful "fancy" bundts baked by my fellow BundtaMonth bakers in celebration of our anniversary.

Enjoy

  6. Wow! It looks delicious. My daughter was standing next to me while I read this post and she was so excited about the cake. She said, "LOOK! That's a beautiful cake!" So you've got the five-year-old set as well as those of us much older, all drooling for your cake. :)

  7. You're killing me, Jill! My mouth is watering ~ but I'm going to resist because I'm trying to lose some weight. One mile of walking = 80 calories, so obviously I need a little food control in the equation! LOL Take care!

  10. Oh, why did you show me that yummy looking cake? I am trying not to bake because I seem to be the one eating the sweets. The neighbors were happy yesterday morning when I delivered warm homemade muffins. I had to get them out of the house before I finished them off.

My very favorite bundt cake ever was a sour cream pound cake recipe from Better Homes and Gardens 42 years ago. I lost the recipe and would love to find it again.
