Holiday in Sanctuary Point

We loaded up the car and headed south to Sanctuary Point for a weeks getaway, Sanctuary Point is about 200 km south of Sydney on the shores of the St Georges Basin.

We stayed in a pretty little house right on the waters edge, we had so much to see outside the huge windows.

There was plenty of bird life around.

We took to dogs down to Hymes Beach it has some of the whitest sanding the world, the wind was blowing the they had a great time running up and down the beach.

Master M decided he would brave the water, I don't think he has ever felt water that cold, but he kept  walking and walking way out.

It was cold and windy but so good to have a break from the routine of day to day life.

  3. It looks like you had a great time, and the pictures are beautiful. I love the crimson Rosella, and have only ever seen one in the wild once, and have never photographed one. They are gorgeous. That house really is pretty, too.

  6. I was surprised when you said it was cold and windy, but I remembered that it is winter now.

We had dinner with friends the other night who live the endless summer - 6 months in Ventura by me and 6 months in Australia at Dolphin Point.
