Spring time

“Is the spring coming?" he said. "What is it like?"...
"It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine...”
― Frances Hodgson BurnettThe Secret Garden

Our garden is slowly starting to come life. I'm seeing little signs of life as I walk around the garden. Flowers opening up, and the trees are starting to get tinny new leaves.

As I  took these photos an hour ago the sun was shining and I was enjoyed a cup of coffee outside on the bench. Now as I type this up I had to run out side grab 3 loads of washing off the line as the rain comes poring down.

  2. Lovely spring photos, GT! We had cold, autumn rain today! I love the smell of clothes that have been dried on a line outside. I hope yours didn't get too wet.
