Scavenger Hunt January (2015)

These are my photos for this months Scavenger Hunt If you would like to join in, just leave a link on the Scavenger Hunt  page to your photos collection, on your  Blog. That way we can all see and enjoy them. I now have a Scavenger Hunt Button on my home page, that will link back to the Scavenger hunt page, It would be great if you could use the button on your Blogs.

All of my photos this month were taken in Hawaii on the island of Oahu, we have just come back from a fabulous 15 day holiday.

Something New:
Having never been to Waikiki this was all very new to me.

Landscape:
I found the landscape very beautiful when we left the city behind.

Words:
What more would you want said.

Cold:
We had to partake in the tradition of eating Shave Ice a few times.

Bottle:
Just what I felt like after a hot day out and about.

Up high:
A view from our room, we were on the 21st floor.

In the fridge:
I just love the labels on these beer bottles.

Texture:
The texture of these Malasadas (a portugese doughnut) made to order from Leonard's bakery were amazing.

 Hidden:
Hidden beneath the water of the Pacific Ocean lays a 'war grave"of the brave men who died on the Arizona. These are the Tears of the arizona.

Blue:
The blue window of hanger 79 pierced with a bullet hole from the morning of December 7th 1941

Big:
King kamehameha, a 8 1/2 foot-tall statue of the monarch who founded the kingdom of Hawaii.

What ever you want:
I saw this lady a the markets, and thought she looked very hawaiian.

I would love it if joined in on the Scavenger hunt, it just a bit of fun each month and a good way to keep us inspired to take photos.
