On Sunday we travelled down to Wollongong, and it took a lot longer than the hour and a half we allowed for as we detoured through the lush and scenic Royal National Park then onto the "Pacific Drive" coast road. We had come to see the Nan Tien temple, finding it was in a very busy spot near the expressway and in an industrial area - bizarre! , but it felt very peaceful once you were inside the tranquil grounds. We had a wander around and looked in all the temples. After a couple of hours we stopped for afternoon tea at their cafe and had a Lemongrass and Ginger tea and a chocolate milkshake. On the way back we stopped off at a skate park Master M had located on google, as he is obsessed at the moment with scooter riding. After a great but long day we headed home as it's back to school on Monday.
