We celebrated my husbands and my brothers birthdays at Burnt Orange on saturday. It is a upmarket cafe dining set in a Federation mansion. The cafe started its life as a golf clubhouse in the 1920s, before being converted into army barracks.
We sat on the huge wrap around verandah with stunning view over Sydney Harbour looking towards the heads and the eastern suburbs as we ate our delicious lunch.
It also contains two floors of retail, including homewards and gifts.
Once you have finished browsing, you can have breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. We finished off our lunch with a taste of there selection of cakes.
It was such a lovely way to spend a warm spring day.
