Reasons to be grateful. Each month we share photos of things we are grateful for. I would like to capture everyday moments that would otherwise be forgotten: the humour, hope, kindness, joy and love. I hope it's a chance for me to be creative, and a way to express my feelings. Capturing our family's growth. I hope it's a wonderful way to reflect on the beauty around us, and focus on living every moment of every day. If you would like to join please leave a link to you blog in the comments column.

A City Day
We took the
River cat into town first thing on Sunday morning.
Views of Sydney Harbour from the water.
We made our way walking through town, always so many thing to see.
The line for the Manly ferry was so long, it must have been a sunny day in Sydney.
Although it's Autumn there were still plenty of people socking up the rays.
The end of a lovely day out.

City Walk (part two)
We walked up Macquarie Street to Hyde Park Barracks. The Barracks were built between 1817 and 1819 to provide secure night lodging for the male convicts for an average of 600 men sleeping in hammocks. It also served in the future as Female Immigration Depot, Female infirm, Destitute asylum, Courts and Government offices and today it is used for a Museum that tells stories about its occupants lives and experiences. We had a great time looking around, and there was a map trail for Master M to follow which he found interesting. Now it was time to find some lunch.

City Walk (part one)
We were up early and out the door, it was fresh but the sun was shining. We headed into town, we started our walk off at Milson's Point where we walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a bit windy but still nice. There is so much to see from the bridge, the ferry boats, the Opera house and the city sky line. From there we headed down through The Rocks where the markets are held each weekend. Then around Circlular Quay and up to Macquarie Street. Lot's of walking time for a stop, but I will tell you about that later.
