Canberra

In the school holidays we took a trip down to Canberra, Australia's national capital. Canberra is a 3 hour drive south of Sydney. We all had so much fun with lots to see and do. We had a very busy two days.

Questacon- The National Science and Technology centre. Questacon makes science fun! Watch a lightning bolt free fall down a 6 metre vertical side, with over 200 hands on exhibits there was so much to do kept  us all busy for a few hours.

The National Art gallery, with so many great works of art to look at and discuss make it a family favourite.

                                   Sculpture out side the gallery.

Parliament House, with its fantastic architecture and access to the Senate and the house of Representative has a huge flag on the roof that you can easily walk around, making it another great thing to do.

The Mint where Master M got the Chance to make his very own $1 coin.

A breathtaking view over looking Canberra from the top of Black Mountain.
