Iced Christmas Cakes

These are what I have been making the sugar craft flowers for. This week we put two of our three Christmas cakes together, the first cake was made in a caned fruit tin and made into a candle with Australian native flowers on it.

This cake was made in a long soup tin. It has the pressed flowers and holly leaves I still have to add the holly berries, then the Christmas cracker will be finished.

I still have one more candle cake to make with different flowers on it, but I will show you that one next week.

  1. Such a beautiful concept, making a cake that resembles a candle ! I love how you made the flame and the melting wax flowing down...beautiful decor with flowers. The second cake is beautiful too, waiting for the third one now !
    Take care,
