Life at the beach

In Australia we are all drawn to the beach it's part of us, a way of life. There is so much to see and do or you can just lie back and do nothing.

Many of the beaches near the big city have Life guards and volunteers Surf live savers, even the little kids get involved in Nippers.

It is one of my favourite things to do is spend time at the beach.

  2. Sometimes I think its in the soul, I am totally drawn to the beach and the sea too. I am such a different person when I live by the sea. Our beaches are so different. No lifeguards or nippers in sight, sometimes you can spend a whole day on a beach and not see another soul.Love your photo's, so from one side of the world to the other beach lovers we are. I was lucky enough to have a 5 week holiday in Australia and wow the beaches.......Annie

Nothing is better to wash away the cares of the world than a walk on the beach.
I feel uplifted now, thank you :o)

  7. It is well known that the health benefits from being close to the sea are tremendous, I can honestly say that I crave the sea on a daily basis. Having lived by the sea for most of my life it becomes integral. I plan visits as often as I can now that I live hours away from it. Fish & Chips always taste far better by the sea!!!
    Whoops!

  9. Looks and sounds idyllic. My son, his wife and their four children are emigrating to Aus next may and are hoping for such a lovely lifestyle. They are going to Perth. I cant tell you how much I will miss them but I know they want a better life for them and their children.

  10. I've always lived by the sea - well the Thames Estuary - and love the sound of the seagulls, walking along the sandy promenade, watching the fishing boats come in with their haul and so much more. My dream would be to own a beach hut so that I could relax with a book while listening to the waves. Hubby says dream on!
