Christmas at our home

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who read my Blog and take the time to leave a comment, it feels like I have a lot of pen pals (with photos) all over the world. I have been so busy with getting ready for Christmas, two weeks summer holidays just after Christmas and my son having school holidays and all of the end of year parties, so I haven't been around in Blog land much.

Well I thought I would show you how Christmas has ended up looking at our home. All the paper decorations I have made and can be dispose of quickly, our tree (this year) that cost me $6 at Ikea and the decorations I got from Big W for about $10, the tree can be flat packed in seconds and the decorations just put away in a bag.

The wooden tree I picked up for $3 at the super market, the stars cookie cutters I had, the bird and bird house I had, and some hand made glass decorations that my Mum made and gave me.
And just some of the Christmas cooking that I have done, and given away to friends and neighbours.
I would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas

  11. What a clever paper wreath.

How can you throw your sweet paper things away? I made a folded book Christmas tree and I absolutely love the look. I am looking for a tutorial to make a folded book page heart.

Have yourself a Merry little Christmas.
