Scavenger Hunt {December 2014}

These are my photos for this months Scavenger Hunt If you would like to join in, just leave a link on the Scavenger Hunt  page to your photos collection, on your  Blog. That way we can all see and enjoy them. I now have a Scavenger Hunt Button on my home page, that will link back to the Scavenger hunt page, It would be great if you could use the button on your Blogs.

Where you stood:
At the beach, a favourite place of mine.

Down low:
 These two laying low.

A view from here:
Sydney experience a terrible loss early this month when a lone terrorist walk into the Lindt Cafe and took 17 people hostage for 16 hours killing two and been killed himself. The people of Sydney have been laying flowers in Martin Place as a sign of respect and unity.

A favourite thing:
The Opera House is one of my favourite things in Sydney, This is a close up of the sails.

Front door:
We went for a walk in Windsor the other day, Windsor is a historical town where a lot of early settlers started out there new lives in Australia.

Sweet:
I'm sure these would all be very sweet.

Christmas:
Christmas morning at our home.

 Decoration:
I saw theses decorations hanging in someones back garden.

Tree:
This Christmas tree was made out of Lego.

Tradition:
A tradition for many families is to look in the big department doors windows.

Black and white:
I saw this very old window and thought it would make a good Black and white photo.

Whatever you want:
This was one of the first things I saw as we hoped of the ferry.

I would like to thank the people who join in on the scavenger hunt each, and all the people who take the time to comment. I hope you all had a happy Christmas and have a fabulous 2015, get your camera's ready and get ready to join  us in 2015.

  1. Thank you for continuing with the scavenger hunt next year - I really enjoy taking part even if, like this month, I really have to scrape my entry together.
Great photos. The flowers are very poignant. Interesting to see the detail on the opera house which we'll be watching lit up with fireworks very soon! x

I'm not sure if I will carry on for 2015 or not, I'm trying to get on top of life, I seem to be so busy all the time, but if I don't join in I hope you have another great year of scavenging.

  6. What a great collection of pictures, Jill! The dogs are darling! I was very sad when the terrorist event unfolded in Sydney. It does change how you look at things, but it also brings people together and makes them think about how fortunate they are to live in a wonderful place like Australia. Thanks for hosting this again this year. I love the scavenger hunt! I'm sorry I had to dip into my archives this month. Hopefully that won't happen in 2015.

I really like that front door- very imposing and the footprint was a super idea! I did contemplate something similar but mud looked very unappealing!
