Our Weekend

On Saturday we took Master M and his friend down to Manly for a scooter lesson, they had so much fun. We walked along the beach front, then headed to another scooter park, where both boys ripped their pants trying out their new tricks. We finished off the day at Dee Why beach, fish and chip for a late lunch and the boys running in and out of the surf in tea shirts and undies what else do you do when you  ripped your shorts from top to bottom.

Manly

A guest post from Mr P: We braved Sydney's cold and rain and got out to visit Australia's Army Artillery Museum at North Head Manly. Our guide took us down underground into tunnels which connected the two large guns Sydney had to protect the harbour. We explored the storage areas which housed the big shells and Master M the strongman picked one up (actually a plastic replica ). A great fun day overall and we learnt alot more about the history of Sydney but also about the army artillery and the chance to speak with veterans who dedicate their own time as volunteers to run the museum and restore the old guns and pieces.
